How to use Corporate Critic
Searching on Corporate Critic
Corporate Critic is designed to be easily explored for information without specialist knowledge.
Many search result lines - such as company names - are live links which change colour when your mouse hovers over them. Clicking on these links will help you to discover more information about that company or subject. Elsewhere 'tick boxes' allow users to view selected data.
Like Google, a search should return the most relevant information first.
Also like Google, putting search terms with more than one word in inverted commas will search for just this phrase.
Searching for parts of words will return whole words.
Therefore, if you are unsure of the spelling of a word it may be worth using part of a word.
A search for 'Nestl' returns more Nestl companies than a search for 'Nestle'.
We abbreviate company names without full stops (BP and not B.P) and use '&' instead of 'and' (Procter & Gamble).
